Truth.

Before you read — this is gonna be a short article so y’all can read it in no time!

The truth that’s not much spoken, and that doesn’t need validation for it to be right or any sort of acceptance, because this fact is indeed eternal.

Hey Friends,

You know, my curiosity has gone off its limits. I know it’s sometimes essential perhaps right to accept, but I just keep questioning.

One of my questions led to me asking about our souls.

I couldn’t get a better explanation until I asked my friend who has a lot of spiritual knowledge as a result of his upbringing.

Knowing that we live in oneness (Ik Onkar) I questioned then how the soul thing works afterlife. He replies saying, “Think of our living bodies as different components that contain air- like balloons, air tubes, tires, etc. And when they burst, the air inside them he refers as to the soul mixes with the atmosphere- that is the soul world.”

I was impressed with this analogy that he has the conception of. There’s no right or wrong in this world is what my father always says, and hence we never know. But we can always seek the most appropriate one.

Now let’s really talk about what we were actually gonna look into.

The truth about life.

If life exists, happiness exists. If happiness exists, adversity and hardships exist. If adversity and hardships exist, hope exists. And if hope exists, then God exists. — Kabir Khanuja

We generally don’t stress about happiness much because it’s not something that bothers us. But lack of it always does.

And when we feel it lacks, we feel we’re exposed to struggle, adversity, and hardships.

So we all face difficulty when it comes to tough times when all we want is hope. And all we think is that we’re gonna get that hope externally, but that’s not the right game is what I’ve realized over the course of many years.

The struggle exists in every person’s life. And that’s the truth.

But I always thought knowing that it does exist, that even if I hold on to hope by myself, there’s always gonna be that hand that I can hold tight and get out of this quicksand.

Perhaps, I even experienced that hand.

But as time went by, those multiple hands at multiple instances are now gone. If it’s still there, I restrain, because the truth is, those hands might change, or those hands might disappear or fade, but your breath never changes.

It’s you at the end of the day.

There’s gonna be no one for you to uplift you and get you out of your shit, and hence they say that “you really gotta gather your shit together!”.

You know, we’ve got this popular saying that people who give you that hope, give you that hand when no one is there are your real friends?

That might be right just as a subjective answer, but not the truth.

The bitter truth is that you are by yourself.

You gotta hold on to hope by yourself, you gotta face your own battles, and you might get a few profound scars, but we all are warriors deep within ourselves.

The deepest scars might make you the strongest of a person you could have ever been. — Kabir Khanuja

Remember me talking about souls?

Souls are the droplets of the ocean, and once it’s in the ocean, there’s no YOU there’s no ME. It’s all one.

We’re one in the world as well, and so are we by ourselves when it comes to surviving.

We do have our own wars to fight, and we do make a choice if we want the rubber to persist.

And sometimes, while being there on the battlefield of our hardships, fighting all day, sweating all day, trying to hold on to hope, not shattering at all, emerges something.

God.

That person or group of persons who are that hope of light, that support to the sinking boat, and those legs to the table that stand by when they see you enter gloom.

Friends.

We’ve got that in ourselves. It’s in you, it’s in me, it’s in everything we can possibly see.

So why do we worry when our God is so perfect?

man kio bairaag karehigaa sathigur maeraa pooraa

(And hence we have the term God, the master, one above all rights and wrongs.)
